Gábor Stépán is a professor emeritus of Applied Mechanics, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Europe. ERC Advanced Grant holder, holder of the Széchenyi Prize and the Bolyai Prize. Former dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
Research fields include delayed dynamical systems, stability theory, and nonlinear vibrations.
