My name is Szabolcs Berezvai and I am currently an assistant professor at the Department of Applied Mechanics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). My research focuses on the advanced finite-strain viscous-elastic-plastic mechanical constitutive equations and their finite element simulation, which can describe the complex behaviour of modern soft and biologycally inspired materials and structures. I defended my PhD dissertation in 2020 at the "Géza Pattantyús-Ábrahám Doctoral School of Mechanical Engineering" at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) under the supervision of dr. Attila Kossa, associate professor.
I earned my MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering Modelling and my BSc degree in Mechatronics. Beside my studies, I've also been teaching Mathematics and participating in the Talent Management Programme at the University since my first degree programme.
The goal of my website is to present my teaching and research activity as well as to provide some personal information. I hope you will find it useful and you will enjoy it!
Kind regards,
Szabolcs Berezvai
